What comes off the floor

One workshop, three materials, three finishes.

We design, fabricate and fit bespoke products for agricultural, industrial, commercial and retail customers. Some of it holds a roof up. Some of it you lean on without noticing.

Bollards, gates and railings

Stainless and galvanised protection for shopfronts, car parks and entrances. We keep a range of bollards in stock in various sizes, ready to collect or ship.

Structural sections, portal frames, stairs, gates and railings, in various grades.

Stainless steel

Food-grade fitouts, canopies, tables and sinks, handrails, balustrades and pipework.

Aluminium

Lighter fabrications where weight and corrosion both matter, in various grades.

Galvanised

Dipped for the jobs that live outdoors, on a farm, a forecourt or an exposed site.

Painted

Shot-blasted and primed structural steel, finished to the specification you need.

Powder-coated

Rails, balconies and architectural metalwork, coated to the colour the job calls for.

We are ten minutes outside Ballybofey,
which is usually ten minutes from you.

Slatted sheds, cubicle houses, machinery sheds, link buildings and horse arenas. We take the measurements ourselves, fabricate them in Cloghan, and put them up.

CE accredited since 2014

Structural steel, marked and certified.

In 2014 we became one of the first metal fabrication companies in Donegal to be CE accredited for structural steelwork. CE marking is now a legal requirement on all structural steel products, and we work hard to hold ours.

Our size is the reason it works. We are small enough to answer you the day you ring, and big enough to get a serious amount of steel out the door in a short time frame.

Health and safety

Nobody here learns on your job.

A huge emphasis is placed on safety in our workshop, and every one of our staff is trained in all mandatory health and safety legislation.

The shop and the people in it

Twenty of us, nearly all from around here.

We are a family owned business, and we started trading in 1997 out of a small workshop in Cloghan, on the edge of the Gaeltacht an Láir, ten minutes outside Ballybofey on the Glenties Road. By 2000 we had moved into the larger workshop we still work from today.

We employ roughly twenty staff, mainly from the local area. That is all of us in the photograph, standing in front of the vans that will be at your place in the morning.

Our sister company, Bluestack Products, supplies and fits food-grade stainless for private, commercial, pharmaceutical and food manufacturing customers: extraction canopies, tables and sinks, shelving, wall cladding, handrails, balustrades and stainless pipework.
